Are you ready for the Motorway?

Learners on Motorways starts in June and MSA GB have arranged an opportunity for you to visit either the North East or North West Highways England Regional Control Centre to look at what happens behind the scenes on the motorway including CCTV and signs and signals.

There will also be a Traffic Officer vehicle on site that you can look around and look at the kit in the vehicle.

It’s also a chance to find out more about the New Driver Programme including the driving Hub and the APP.

Highways England operates, maintains and improves England’s motorways and major A roads. It is the government company charged with operating, maintaining and improving England’s motorways and major A roads. Formerly the Highways Agency, they became a government company in April 2015. They are responsible for motorways and major (trunk) roads in England. Their road network totals around 4,300 miles only 2 per cent of all roads in England by length, these roads carry a third of all traffic by mileage.

The Motor Schools Association of Great Britain (MSA GB) provides members with information both electronically and in print. Representation, both for individuals who have difficulties with other bodies and members collectively when they are consulted by bodies like the DVSA. MSA GB offer a range of services which are included in the membership fee and further services at discounted prices.
