REMINDER: DVSA OBS will be unavailable from 6pm today

This is a final reminder that from 6pm today (Monday 11 May) the online booking service (OBS) will be unavailable. This is to allow the system to be updated for the changes to the driving test rules from 12 May.

This is your last opportunity to make any changes to any of the car test bookings you have made.

The changes will affect only car tests. The functionality for all other tests you book on OBS will still be the same.

Continuing to use OBS

After the changes you will still be able to use OBS to:

• set your availability so learners can avoid booking tests when you are unavailable, or have tests with other learners
• book other types of tests, such as bike, lorry, and ADI tests
• view business financial statements
• view car bookings you made before 12 May
• send requests to DVSA
• manage payment methods

If you use a pre-funded account to pay for car driving tests, you will need to wait until all current booked tests have been completed. You can then complete a form on GOV.UK to request the account is closed and any money left is refunded.
