MSA GB Professional Indemnity insurance policy cover for MSA GB members up to £5 million

• The professional indemnity insurance covers MSA GB members in case of action taken against them by a third party for professional error negligence or omission in the professional advice they give to the public.
• Example: MSA GB member working in a vehicle. MSA GB member gives instruction to a client to take an action which results in the person given instruction being injured – member covered.

Public Liability insurance in the sum of £10 million pounds for MSA GB members engaged in any driver training activity that they are competent to deliver.

Member Representation

• MSA GB is a consultative organisation
• A large part of the MSA GB’s work is concerned with making sure that the ADIs voice is heard by decision makes in Europe and in both GB national and local government. To that end, the MSA GB is formally consulted by the Department of Transport (DfT) and the DfT agencies, on all matters concerning driver training and testing. The MSA GB are also members of groups like the Road Safety Advisory Panel and the Parliamentary Advisory Council for Transport safety (PACTS) Details of all communication is regularly circulated to members via Newslink and accessible via the MSA GB website.

 The MSA GB Members legal & technical advice service does not guarantee to cover any legal costs incurred by members who might resort to litigation, but seeks to give diagnostic help in legal matters, free of charge to members.

MSA GB Handbook & Annual Report

The Yearbook section lists the contact details of all MSA GB committees and their Chairman together with useful information regarding driving licences, accident procedures and useful contact numbers.

 The Annual Report contains details of the association’s activities over the previous twelve months and includes the Motor Schools Association of Great Britain Limited summary financial statements. It is sent to every member during the first quarter of each year.
