DVSA’s new driving test booking system: pilot confirmed

The DVSA wanted to update you on the progress of DVSA’s new driving test booking and management system, the Driver Service Platform (DSP).

Ready for testing

Since awarding the contract to Kainos in September 2025, the team has been working to build the new service.

The DVSA are now preparing to trial it for the first time at Durham driving test centre in July.

DVSA’s project lead, Jacqui Turland, has provided an update on the project and the trial in our latest Despatch blog post.
