| Gateshead driving test centre is being refurbished from Monday 17 October 2022 until Sunday 6 November 2022. Driving tests During the refurbishment, all practical car driving tests will instead take place at Gosforth driving test centre. The address for the test centre is: Sandy Lane Gosforth NE3 5HB View on a map. Driving tests will recommence from the Gateshead test centre on Monday 7 November. We have written to affected driving test candidates, but please do remind them nearer the time if you can. ADI and motorcycle tests During the work, ADI part 2, 3 and standards checks and mod 1 and 2 motorcycle test will take place at Gateshead driving test centre as planned. During the work no toilet facilities will be available at the centre but there are public toilets you can use at the Metro Centre. We apologise for any inconvenience caused by this change, and thank you for your patience and understanding. |
